Our Love Food Hate Waste Business partners are committed to reducing the amount of good food that is being sent to landfill in NSW by providing the community with practical and easy tips to reduce food waste.

Black Book Cooking Pty Ltd is committed to increasing community understanding of food waste and its impacts on our environment. The website, blog and social media accounts, will showcase behaviours and practices that encourage the reduction of food waste through an understanding of effective food preparation and preservation methods.

ReOrganise YourSelf assists families by providing weekly evening menu plans that help reduce food waste, save money and families to shop smarter. Through a structured menu plan and shopping regime we provide households with the tools to cook nutritious evening meals.

Silos Estate

Silos Estate became carbon neutral for energy needs in 2008. Other environmental initiatives including 'no irrigation' planting, low carbon bottling and offering carbon offsets are now complemented by Love Food Hate Waste. 'Just in time' inventory and composting of food waste are two initiatives that have been rolled out.

Southgate Shopping Centre

Southgate Shopping Centre, Sylvania, is bringing the Love Food Hate Waste message to fresh food customers by including the program's waste-reduction 'Shopping Tips' in the centre's 2011 'Home Cook Hero' Recipe Calendar.

Each month of the Southgate-exclusive calendar features food waste reduction ideas that shoppers can use when planning their purchases.

Sydney Opera House

Sydney Opera House's (SOH) vision is to be a global leader in sustainable performing arts centres. By June 2013 SOH aims to achieve a 70 per cent diversion of the precinct's waste from landfill with food waste a critical challenge. Trials of new methods and technology have begun and SOH looks forward to sharing its progress.

Unilever

By 2020, Unilever aims to halve the environmental footprint of their products and source 100% of their agricultural raw materials sustainably. In New South Wales, Unilever Food Solutions is trialing a pilot program with Love Food Hate Waste which educates and encourages the food industry and consumers to reduce food waste.

University of Western Sydney

University of Western Sydney (UWS) is delighted to become a Love Food Hate Waste partner and recognises the importance of raising awareness to avoid food waste.

UWS has partnered with Penrith City Council to deliver exciting initiatives including sustainable menu planning workshops and cooking demos with MasterChef contestant Jay Huxley.

Warrigal Care

Warrigal Care understands that food waste represents a significant proportion of our waste to landfill. Avoiding food waste and processing food scraps are goals of Warrigal Care. We are happy to partner with Love Food Hate Waste and promote it both within our organisation and to the wider community.
