Cereals, pasta and rice

Here are our top tips for storing cereals, pasta and grains such as rice.

Pasta in glass jars

Glass jars with airtight lids are perfect for pasta.

Cereals, pasta and rice: After opening, store cereals, rice, flour, pasta and other dry ingredients in good quality airtight containers. If you do not have suitable containers, tightly reseal the original packaging.

Fresh pasta is best eaten within a few days of buying and can be stored in your fridge until the ‘use-by’ date.
